Madras masala lassi
There is nothing better than a glass of lassi to quench your thirst on hot days as this period.
This drink is a perfect non-alcoholic alternative.This is the beverage of North Indian region. I feel the need to represent my neighbour Indian culture here on the blog with things like lassi. This recipe is very easy to make if you have a thirst you can quench it soon from madras masala lassi.It can be prepared with such basic ingredients available in your cuisines.
It is sure going to delight this both the kids and adults.Just try !
Ingredients :
Plain yoghurt or fresh curd 1 cup
Cool water 1/2 cup 3/4 cup (It can be changed as required)
Salt 1/2 teaspoon
Small cardamom 1/4 tea spoon
Ice cubes 4 or 5
Coriander leaves 2or 3
*For
Vegetable oil 1 table spoon
Mustard seed 1 1/2 tea spoon
Cumin seed 3/4 tea spoon
Small curry leaves 20
Instructions
*Take clean two glasses & keep it in refrigerator for 10 minutes
Now take a blender & pour the curd in the blender afterthat add water & cardamom powder. Now blend it well for 2 minutes until form a sweet buttermilk as mixing with water & curd. Now transfer it into the cooled 2 glasses.

Instructions

Afterwards Take a pan & place it over medium heat & add oil.After a few seconds add mustard seed.Just after spluttering mustard seeds add cumin seeds.Also as spluttering cumin seeds add curry leaves.Now keep it for about 20 seconds.Then remove oil & separate remaining temperd spices mixure.Add this spices mixture into the 2 glasses without oil separately.It is best served chilled with a topping of a few ice cubes & also coriander leaves.
